Leak Detection Pros maintains the latest equipment to ensure that our data and reports are accurate on each inspection. Since we conduct the inspections but do not provide repair services, we can provide you with comprehensive and unbiased reporting that can then be used by the plumbing professional of your choice. We provide you with a thorough report of our findings, and then a contractor will perform the repairs. We look out for you, the customer, to ensure that you receive honest and accurate data.
At Leak Detection Pros, we specialize in finding and locating underground leaks on your property. We use the latest electronic listening and tracing gas equipment to see and hear what is going on underground. Typically when you have a water leak inside your home, you can locate the source reasonably quickly. However, when it is an exterior leak under a concrete slab on other underground locations, this can be more difficult. Depending upon the age of your home or other structure, the pipes that were installed could be any of the following copper, cast iron, or galvanized steel which all have different life spans but are all capable of breakdown over time. We can inspect all of these types of pipes to pinpoint the location of your leak and will provide you with the data and finds so that the correct contractor can be put in place to make the repairs.
Before you begin any major construction or excavation on your property, you will want to have the utility lines and pipes located. Not locating these and digging into them could cause many major issues. Water, gas, and sewer lines along with cable and fiber optics are located underground on many properties. Damage to any of these could cause safety, service interruption, leaks and many other disruptions. Leak Detection Pros can use our technology and knowledge to locate buried utilities and help you avoid any issues during your construction project.
Leak Detection Pros has two different camera systems that can video a line from 2” up to 6”, 300 feet long. We then provide a thumb drive or dropbox with these recordings and a written report. These inspections are essential to utilize before a home purchase and to identify existing problems with the sewer line. Often issues can be identified and then repaired or replaced before it becomes a significant problem.
